    Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:
    The Account Executive will contribute to the company sales objectives by increasing sales for Turf Distributors in our Business to Business and Retail channel. An Account Executive is expected to increase volume at our current B2B partners, while acquiring new customers by prospecting, networking and engaging new opportunities. New customers will be targeted in the B2B/Retail channel while also including larger contractors, turf resellers and all potential sellers of turf. This individual will be adept at managing single and multiple location partners in the assigned market while maintaining a consistent pipeline of new business. The Account Executive must have a strong business acumen with a willingness to think outside the box to identify solutions.
    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Consults with customers to understand their needs
    • Demonstrates and explains products, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer's needs
    • Answers customer's questions about our product and installation
    • Meet sales goals and objectives as assigned by the Director of Sales
    • Develop and execute daily action plan
    • Follow up on sales activity to ensure customer satisfaction and client relationship development
    • Maintain knowledge about all current products and services. Research local competitor's products and cost points
    • Track and maintain all leads and accounts in CRM staying current on status
    • Follow up on leads, contacts, referrals and established accounts with frequency
    • Perform outgoing lead generation calls on a regular basis and track through CRM
    • Participate in marketing events i.e. trade shows, fairs and in-store events
    • Help maintain all in store displays, literature and samples while transporting metal displays in your personal vehicle
    • Identify and acquire new business through networking, social media and cold calling
    • Act as a liaison between sales, marketing and logistics while maintaining direct contact and a strong relationship with Sales Support
    • Provide creative solutions for business growth and opportunity
    • Ability to receive and accept coaching and development
    REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
    • Excellent verbal communication skills
    • Excellent active listening skills
    • Excellent sales and customer service skills
    • Ability to anticipate customers' needs.
    • Ability to recommend merchandise to customers
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Familiarity of CRM software
    • Knowledge of successful lead generation (cold calling, social media, etc)
    • Proven track record of providing first-rate customer service, focusing on the customer experience
    • Maintain a positive, up-beat, attitude
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 5 years in sales
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Prior experience with Artificial Turf, Landscape, or flooring sales
    • Fluent in both English and Spanish
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
    COMPENSATION:
    • $65,000 + commission.
    • Car allowance.
    • Cell phone allowance.
