    Description

    Position Summary:

    Chesmar Homes is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting HR and IT, ensuring smooth operations within the departments. The position requires the ability to handle sensitive information, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills.

    Responsibilities and Duties:
    • Vendor management: Ensure that office and department supplies ordered are maintained, and invoices are processed in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate employee onboarding, preparing and shipping materials, and assisting new hire paperwork.
    • Handle HR Correspondence by responding to employee inquiries via phone, email, and in person and directing to the appropriate HR team member.
    • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
    • Maintain HR files and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Additionally, will perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
    • Troubleshoot user issues with HRIS software (e.g., Paycom) and provide support to employees as needed.
    • Assist with property management tasks such as issuing building access key cards and any maintenance inquiries.
    • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events and holiday parties.
    Qualifications

    Qualifications:
    • College degree preferred but not required.
    • 2-4 years of in office administrative experience (HR-related field preferred)
    • Proficient with standard software such as Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Maintain proper and professional etiquette and appearance.
    • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly in fast-paced high work volume.
    • General knowledge of office management responsibilities and systems.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Flexibility to help assist with new tasks and office changes.
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi- task and prioritize work.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and successfully pass a background check.
