    As a Mechanical Engineer on our Aftermarket Engineering team, you will develop models, drawings, and documentation to support Projects and Products.

    To collaborate with inside and outside sales for product improvement. This role will be located in Salt Lake City, UT.Your responsibilities

    Work with supervision from more experienced team members , creating 3D and 2D models with design intent and knowledge in design for manufacturing and sourcing.

    Prepare Fabrication and Assembly drawings using AutoCAD and 3D models in SolidWorks.
    Prepare Bill of material/part list and Project Specific specifications for the product assemblies.
    Coordinate and monitor progress of design work in collaboration with Product Engineer and Project Manager.
    Identify the complex areas of the product and simplify it by making standards and check lists.
    Adhere to departmental procedures and standards.
    Render support to others on competent areas and seek support on challenging areas and escalate issues immediately.
    Extend efforts as needed to complete tasks on time within allotted hours.

    What you bring
    Degree as a Mechanical Engineer
    5 years of experience in the engineering discipline in drafting, desirable in mining projects.
    Proficient with Solidworks and Autocad.
    Proficient in basic engineering fundamentals.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    Proficient in Manufacturing processes, material, and global quality standards.
    Knowledge of manufacturing processes (welding, machinery, fabrication of industrial parts, tolerances), materials, and global quality standards.
    Good verbal and written communication skills.
    Ability to collaborate with core discipline design teams to achieve a working solution to problems and/or design issues.
    Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative.
