    Your Role at Baxter:

    The Treasury Manager of Foreign Exchange and Forecast will play an essential part in managing KidneyCo's foreign currency exposure risk and cash flow forecasting program. This role is responsible for managing the exposure and forecasting systems, processes, and best practices for an outstanding Treasury function. The manager role should have strong analytical thinking and an interest in global currency markets while also working with the business strategically to support KidneyCo's mission.

    What You'll be Doing:

    • Responsible for overseeing and FX trading per policy guidelines.
    • Serves as a key systems expert as it relates to data collection and inputs of forecasting requirements.
    • Supports the Director/Assistant Treasurer of Capital Markets with all month and quarter end reporting of foreign exchange activity to cross functional teams, committees, and other key stakeholders.
    • Partners with leadership to evaluate and quantify FX risks globally.
    • Collaborates with Treasury and FP&A teams to develop and implement cash flow and balance sheet forecasting models to maintain hedging and FX exposure management.
    • Collaborates with cash management and cash operations teams to develop and implement cash forecasting models to maintain liquidity.
    • Serves as a subject matter expert to global businesses and banking partners regarding foreign exchange exposures, hedging activities and risk appetite.
    • Assists forecasts for assigned processes with help of various statistical forecasting norms and business intelligence.
    • Understands and explains the flow of cash through the organization to better assess long-term forecast validity.
    • Crafts new metrics to monitor forecasts accurately and analyze all cash flow trends.
    • Manages all FX related data in TMS platform.
    • Supports the MDC (Morgan Direct Commercial) process with the pricing of new trades and serves as a backup for payment/approval process for KL.

    What You'll Bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (or country equivalent).
    • 3 plus years of relevant prior work experience, ideally with experience in Treasury Management Systems.
    • Ability to effectively influence and drive communication with diverse collaborators.
    • Ability to assemble and work in a team-oriented environment, often cross-functionally.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
    • Possess a passion for global markets and international business.
    • Strong data manipulation skills, including Excel or SQL.
    • Strong problem solving and analytical reasoning.
    • Self-starter, able to draw solid independent conclusions based on ambiguous information.
    • Financial modeling expertise and good business understanding.
    • High motivation and desire to learn quickly.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 to $143,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
