- Manage the annual operating and capital budgets effectively.
- Analyze data for business plans and proposals for new products or services.
- Develop long-term financial planning and analysis.
- Offer timely operational analysis and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Perform revenue and cost analysis, business planning, and volume trend analysis.
- Back up budgets with valuable analytical insights and create decision tools for management.
- Create and execute new workflows, systems, and processes.
- Work on special projects and fulfill other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a healthcare environment.
- Prior experience in decision support, budgeting, and project management is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL.

About the Role:
We are looking for a Director of Decision Support to take charge of our financial planning and analysis activities. In this position, you will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for decision support, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and hospital-wide analytics. Your main tasks will involve collaborating with the Business Office to analyze patient accounts receivable, spotting opportunities for cash collections, and payor reimbursement. Working closely with the Accounting team, you will play a crucial role in the operating budget and month-end close processes.
