Randstad is looking for a dynamic Lab Technician to join their team in Ankeny, Iowa. In this role, you will be part of a leading company in the field of agriculture research. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an innovative and inclusive environment where every team member is valued. The work hours for this position are from 1 AM to 10 AM, Monday to Friday. Please note that relocation cost reimbursement is not provided for this position, and local candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various laboratory technical tasks such as sample preparation and processing.
• Take care of laboratory equipment and ensure its maintenance.
• Assist in operating equipment, collecting data, and handling raw materials.
• Assist with ordering and stocking of laboratory supplies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field with 1-4 years of lab experience.
• Familiarity with lab procedures and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Essential Functions:

• Working in a smoke-free environment.

Skills:

• Laboratory/Sciences (4 years of experience required)
• Microsoft Office (4 years of experience preferred)
• Lab Sample Preparation (2 years of experience required)

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience
• Experience Level: Experienced
