    Mease Dunedin Hospital - Medical/Surgical ICU - Dunedin, Florida


    • Status: Full Time
    • Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
    • Every other weekend requirement
    • Our network consists of 16 community-based hospitals, a long-term acute care facility, home health services, outpatient centers and thousands of physicians.     • Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
    • 1-year experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting
    • The Registered Nurse - ICU responsibilities and skills:
    • Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
    • Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
    • Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
    • Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
    • Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition
    • Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
    • Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
    • High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
