    Job Summary

    The

    Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiovascular Technologist

    assists physicians during complex cardiac procedures in the Electrophysiology Lab. The role includes preparing equipment, maintaining sterile technique, monitoring hemodynamics, and documenting EP procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    Scrub and assist in

    EP procedures


    such as:
    Pacemaker implants
    ICD implants
    Lead extractions
    VT ablations
    Atrial fibrillation / flutter procedures
    SVT ablations
    LAAO procedures

    Assist with

    electrical mapping and device pocket closure
    Operate advanced cardiac equipment such as

    IVUS, FFR, OCT, ICE, IABP, Impella, and 3D mapping systems
    Required Qualifications


    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree OR
    Cardiovascular Technologist / Radiology Technologist Program


    Experience:
    Minimum

    2 years' experience in Electrophysiology or Invasive Cardiology

    Required Certifications (One of the following)

    ARRT (R)

    – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

    RCES
    – Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist

    RCIS
    – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
    ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

    (within 180 days)
    BLS – Basic Life Support
