    We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer II to join our team.

    Our preferred candidate would have the following:
    Willing to work hybrid preferred candidate resides within an hour of Corvallis.
    Power BI experience preferred.
    Microsoft Azure or Microsoft Fabric data pipeline experience preferred.
    Experience in Python or R programming preferred.

    JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
    Contributes to the analysis, design and implementation of effective data architecture and strategy. Applies healthcare expertise, technical and analytic skills to document data and business analytics requirements. Responsible for data integration and extraction, business intelligence reporting, analysis and interpretation of data. Adheres to data governance processes and assumes responsibility for data standards design.

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    Information Services is committed to providing leadership, support and coordination of technology at Samaritan Health Services.

    The IS Analytics team provides centralized, comprehensive data support to the organization including report creation, data delivery, data integration and warehousing, business intelligence, predictive model management, and data analysis.

    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's degree (preferably in IT or other technical field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, or data science) or equivalent experience required.

    Three (3) years experience in programming reports, dashboards or other business intelligence tools required.
    Experience with T-SQL development, query optimization, ETL tools, and relational or dimensional data modeling techniques required.
    Industry recognized, current, and relevant Epic certifications/accreditations required within six (6) months of hire.
    Experience or training in data mining, data quality and data security preferred.

    Experience or training in Microsoft technology stack (including SQL Server T-SQL, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, SharePoint and Excel) preferred.

    Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
    Epic Electronic Health Record System experience preferred.
