    Description;

    • Providing hands-on support of new model mold and equipment preparation and trials
    • Identifying mold and or equipment problems and implementing countermeasures
    • Leading process activities related to fitting accuracy, chase studies, scanning check fixtures/injection molds, robot teaching, trial support, coordinating trial activities, and assisting NAMC's as needed
    • Assisting in specification reviews/vendor trials for new process equipment
    • Support standardized work development, team member training, and quality control plan documentation, etc.
    • Support engineering, manufacturing activities, and reporting
    • Perform "hands-on" Seibi tasks as needed to complete work objectives
    • Candidate with PLC background is a plus, but not mandatory
    • Heavy travel is potential for this role at other sites in USA, Canada and Mexico – Upto 60%
    • Candidate should be data driven and detail oriented
    • Should have good Excel, MS office and computer skills
    • Robotics experience is a plus, but not mandatory

    What you'll be doing:

    • The Seibi Technician's responsibilities include performing research, using 3D coordinate measuring systems, building prototypes, inspecting products, learning/leading plastics processes (equipment/tooling/processing/repair), and providing customer support.
    • You should be able to communicate effectively under pressure, and provide effective suggestions for improvement.

    Bonus if you have:

    • Experience in Plastics Injection Mold maintenance, Injection Molding Machine Operation & Processing, robot programming, and troubleshooting.
    • Experience with welding and fabrication.
    • Additional related certifications
    • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience
    • A strong background with repair, hand work, and associated hand tools
