The Mechanical Lead will serve as the mechanical commissioning focal point across Construction, Completions, QA/QC, Vendors, Operations, and HSSE. The role involves leadership & coordination of the mechanical commissioning team buildng priorities delegation daily execution chair/lead mechanical readiness meetings for assigned areas/systems driving closure of constraints owning mechanical deliverables required for subsystem/system turnover ensuring correct ITR assignment in completions system validating MC boundaries support startup sequencing planning executing mechanical test packages assist pre-commissioning activities flushing cleaning hydro/pneumatic testing leak/tightness testing rotating equipment prep static equipment readiness vendor management coordinating rep mech packages manage req sign-offs warranties coordinate documentation requirements punch items ensure all turnover doc complete audit-ready provide weekly progress reporting system readiness status constraints look-aheads critical path impacts staffing needs enforce HSSE expectations drive high-quality execution deliverables/subsystems turned over on schedule with complete correct closeout minimal rework smooth transition from MC → pre-commissioning → commissioning → operationsJob description
