Rates- $70/hr PAY
As of now contract only for 12-18 months

Looking for a Oracle Database Administrator who will be responsible for understanding and maintaining the database implementation for client applications.

This includes analysis, etc.
Will be working on multiple projects as an Oracle DBA or SME in database technology independently.
Should have demonstrate advanced skills in Oracle utilities AWR, ADDM and OsWatcher as well as OEM management and administration.
Need to configure and administer Oracle GoldenGate and other high availability architectural designs.

Top Skills:

Looking for senior DBA to refresh the database
Oracle Goldengate is must
Performance tuning is must
Need to have work experience with backup and restore techniques for databases of at least 10TB

Need to have experience installing and administering Oracle 11g, 12C and 19 but if someone have 12C and 19 will be considered.

Replication of Goldengate is big plus depends on the experience DBA and Performance tuning.
Need to have on call support after hours once in a while that depends on the team size.
Oracle Cloud experience is nice to have
Financial industry experience is plus
Production support and design experience is nice to have.

A Database Administrator is responsible for understanding and maintaining the database implementation for an application. This includes analysis, etc.

Job Description:
Demonstrate advanced skills in Oracle utilities AWR, ADDM and OsWatcher as well as OEM management and administration.

Work closely with senior leadership, clients, systems programmers, and development staff to define and resolve information flow and content issues.

Work on multiple projects as an Oracle DBA or SME in database technology independently.

Design and implement conflict detection and resolution (CDR) solutions for replication. Configure, administer, and implement complex database infrastructures, multiple replication technologies, multi-directional flows, and other high availability architectural topologies.

Configure and administer Oracle GoldenGate and other high availability architectural designs.

Monitor and analyze performance metrics and allocate database resources to achieve optimum database performance.

Support multiple servers and multiple databases of medium to high complexity (complexity defined by database size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility of the data.

Perform fail-over testing;

Implement database patches and upgrades; and demonstrate expert level knowledge of networks, storage, encryption, security, cloud and backup and recovery technologies.

Required Qualifications:

MasterÆ??s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 5 years of IT experience in Oracle database administration.

In the alternative,

Employer will accept BachelorÆ??s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 5 years of IT experience in Oracle database administration.

Must have experience with:
Development procedures, cloud, and emerging technologies; IT service management or ITIL;

2 years in one or more computer languages, such as Perl, Unix Shell Scripting, and Python;

5 years in database utilities, including Oracle Enterprise Manager;

5 years translating business requirements into technical specifications and system architect diagrams;

5 years installing and administering Oracle 11g, 12C and 19;

5 years installing and administering ASM;

5 years installing and administering RAC;

5 years with backup and restore techniques for databases of at least 10TB;

5 years with performance tuning, problem diagnosis and resolution;

5 years with shell scripting.

5 years with SQL

5 years in troubleshooting problems relating to the Oracle database that may originate or exist in the infrastructure that supports the data store including application server, network, storage, and operating system component/layer;

5 year with GoldenGate or other database replication technologies.

5 years with Exadata, ODA appliances

3 years with ExaCC/CS
