    Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)| Port Hueneme, California

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each client's needs.
    • Provide direct therapy services to individuals with communication disorders in school settings.
    • Assist with assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation as required by regulatory standards.
    • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support clients' communication skills in educational environments.
    • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and client progress.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or related field.
    • Current SLPA license issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
    • Previous experience working as an SLPA in school settings is preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
