    ABOUT THE POSITION:

    As a leading independent accounting and advisory firm dedicated to providing exceptional service to a diverse clientele including privately-owned businesses, high-net-worth families, and investment funds, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment, and we are seeking a passionate and experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join our team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the Firm's business objectives and goals. Communicate strategy firmwide.
    • Drive brand awareness, generate leads, and achieve firm growth objectives across all industry and service lines.
    • Drive the use of data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and activities and make data-driven decisions.
    • Enhance social media efforts and results towards name recognition and opportunity generation.
    • Collaborate with partners and other C-level executives across the firm, including leadership, practice leaders, and business development teams, to ensure alignment with marketing initiatives and the overall firm's strategic plan.
    • Identify opportunities for the firm to build a presence with industry, advisory, or geographic segments.
    • Oversee all aspects of the Firm's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels (internal and external) such as marketing and communications, digital marketing, content creation, public relations, and event planning.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the firm's brand when it comes to both employee and client attraction and retention.
    • Develop and execute targeted campaigns to attract new clients and expand the Firm's client base.
    • Manage and mentor our team of fourteen marketing professionals, providing them with direction, ensuring their alignment with Firm strategy and vision, monitoring their performance, and fostering their professional development.
    • Streamline processes and leverage technology to best manage resources and maximize results.
    • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in marketing and communications, adapting strategies as needed as well as suggesting new professional service areas to consider.
    • Drive through leadership initiatives including white papers, articles, webinars, and speaking engagements, positioning the Firm as a leading authority in the industry.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop compelling and relevant content.
    • Develop and manage the Firm's marketing budget, allocating resources and priorities effectively to maximize ROI and achieve marketing objectives.
    • Monitor expenses and performance metrics to track budget utilization and effectiveness of marketing investments.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • MBA preferred.

    Experience:

    • 10+ years of experience in a marketing leadership role within the professional services industry.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns that achieve measurable results.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media marketing.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize data to inform decision-making.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and marketing conditions.

    Compensation:

    • Competitive annual salary in the range of $175,000 to $250,000 based on individual's experience level.
