- Assist the Executive Chef in menu development, food preparation, and execution.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering, and food cost control.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and seasonal menu offerings.
- Monitor food presentation and ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant's standards for quality and consistency.
- Actively participate in staff meetings, menu tastings, and special events as required.
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff.
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
