Scripps Mercy Hospital consists of two campuses in San Diego and Chula Vista.

Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego's campus includes the O'Toole Breast Care Center, a 24-hour emergency room that is a Level I Trauma Center, outpatient physical rehabilitation, minimally invasive robotic surgery and our childbirth unit (including a Level II neonatal intensive care unit).

This is a Per Diem (Casual) position located at our Scripps Mercy Campus in Hillcrest, must be available to work a Night shift including 6:00PM-2:30AM and varied schedule including weekends. This position will help provide coverage for PTO, leave of absence, and other department needs.

Our Food Service Partners perform job functions to support the following Food Service operational systems: safe food handling, meal assembly and portion control, customer service, and infection control/sanitation. Follows established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with TJC, Title XXII and other applicable regulatory requirements. Demonstrates age-specific care as established for area and job title.

Required Qualifications

Must be able to speak, read, and write English
SD County Food Handler Card; or Food Safety Certificate, or able to pass Food Handlers test given by certified manager or designee

Preferred Qualifications

Food Service experience
Food Service experience in a Healthcare setting

Position Pay Range: $25.00-$29.29/hour
