Description
GPI is seeking three (3) data technicians to join the Traffic Department data collection team to serve as accident record support staff.
The candidates will assist the existing NJDOT and GPI staff with processing and validating incident data, including organizing mailed cases, verifying electronic submissions, and managing support tasks.
GPI will provide training to the reviewer regarding the NJTR-1 Reports before starting the position at the NJDOT. Compile and organize daily data received from various sourcesReview and sort data for errors
Track and maintain accurate records of data
Coordination with other GPI staff
Run basic queries on the data
Document work on a daily basis and provide status updates to GPI Project Manager
Report progress and coordinate with the GPI and NJDOT Project Manager
Perform quality control as needed
Work with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth or similar imagery, Adobe Acrobat and potentially other NJDOT programs
High School graduate or Associates Degree is preferred
~0-5 years of experience working with data
~ Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is required
~ Proficiency in data entry and analysis
~ Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
