- Work with the Engineering team, internal departments, and vendors to deploy and maintain a robust multisite network infrastructure.
- Assess, choose, and execute proposed solution packages for new site buildouts.
- Offer insights and strategic input within the engineering team to influence highlevel decisions.
- Adapt the initial network architecture based on evolving requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network designs, best practices, and operational procedures.
- Act as Tier 2 and 3 support for networks postimplementation.
- Train Tier 1 support teams in effective troubleshooting procedures.
- Be an integral part of the Global Operations team, monitoring the overall infrastructure.
- Ensure network equipment is updated to the latest stable firmware release.
- Manage wireless networks, Network Access Control (NAC), and infrastructure monitoring.
- Conduct research on emerging methodologies to enhance the efficiency of existing networks continually.
- Establish and enforce network security protocols and procedures.
- Develop automation tools to enhance deployment and disaster recovery operations.
- 5+ years of experience in Network Management and Support.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional
- Proficient in creating and monitoring firewall policies.
- Ability to manage, update, and troubleshoot Routing/Switching/Wireless networks.
- Willingness to travel and perform physical tasks like rack and stack.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Dell, Rukus, Meraki, MikroTik, and Arista.
- Familiarity with Cloudvision, Panorama, Ansible, Python.
- Experience with Azure/GCP/AWS network design.
- Background in network security.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Cloud methodology.
- Experience with BGP routing protocol.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting with ISPs.
- Availability for overtime and weekends; flexibility required.
- Must be comfortable working in an non office environment
- Willingness to travel for build and installation of new sites
- Comfortable lifting heavy objects up to 40 lbs.
