    Eaton's Aerospace division is looking for an Associate Manufacturing Engineer in Jackson, MI.

    The expected annual salary range for this role is in the typical range for similar positions. This role also offers a variable incentive program.

    What you'll do:

    Position Overview:

    Foundational team member responsible for supporting the High-Performance Work team. Support daily floor activities including fast response calls, Defective Material Report (DMR) closures, troubleshooting, and operational support. Responsible for achieving operational goals in safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction. Provide production associates with necessary tools to meet requirements.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and improve safe manufacturing processes following standard practices.
    • Primary contact for shop floor support needs, resolving issues promptly.
    • Communicate daily with team members for issue resolution.
    • Active member of a High-Performance Work Team (HPWT) to ensure on-time customer delivery.
    • Develop and execute standard working procedures to deliver results.
    • Tooling maintenance, including inventory management and requisitions.
    • Create process documents to ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met.
    • Troubleshoot and implement changes to improve manufacturability and profitability.

    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma or equivalent from an Accredited Institution.
    Minimum two (2) years of manufacturing or engineering experience.
    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
    Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
    Equipment and tooling design experience with understanding of drafting and GD&T practices.
    Familiarity with tools for Measurement System Analysis, Capability Analysis, and more.

    Skills:

    • Limited travel may be required (<20%).
    • Opportunity to work with various teams from manufacturing to design engineering.
    • Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
    • Hands-on process experience in manufacturing techniques.
    • Effective communication with all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
