The Business Analyst (BA) at DODD will provide program technical assistance to state and contracted information technology professionals during one multiple or all phases of an assigned project.

BA's gather information from various sources (business and technical teams) during the inception (i.e. development of the scope and outline of the general requirements) of a project. The BA will need excellent verbal and written communication skills to fulfill this role.

DODD is an AGILE shop; as part of the BA activity BA's will be asked to develop and refine user stories.

In order to perform this function the BA should be conversant with the Microsoft Visual Studio or DevOps Platform.

Specifically in order to Add user requirements to stories; Add artifacts obtained from the business to stories Develop supporting artifacts based on interviews with the technical and business team; Write acceptance criteria; Assisting with the development of acceptance criteria; and Manage the state of user stories from committed to ready for test processes.
