    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in supporting our uniquely branded companies. As an integral member of our entrepreneurial environment, the Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and providing strategic financial guidance to the entrepreneur. The Front Climbing Clubs are lifestyle gyms that include, Cafes, Yoga, Group Fitness, beautiful recreational areas, and more You will split your time between it and its sister company, Vertical Solutions.

    Vertical Solutions is the largest domestic climbing wall builder and offers everything needed to get climbers off the ground - walls holds and pads.

    Responsibilities //
    • Oversee & work in the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance, while accommodating the specific ways the owner would like things to be done.
    • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and GAAP principles.
    • Collaborate closely with the ownership to develop and maintain financial budgets, forecasts, and business plans that align with their unique vision and goals.
    • Analyze financial data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls.
    • Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and provide recommendations to optimize financial resources.
    • Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations, while also considering the owner's preferences.
    • Liaise with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions, to support financial reporting and compliance requirements.
    • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
    • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering their professional growth and development within the entrepreneurial setting.
    • Calculate and record depreciation.
    • Ensure Multistate compliance including sales tax.
    • Conduct yearly and trimester planning.
    • Conduct Job Costing analysis.
    REQUIREMENTS//
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 4-5 year's experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant, preferably in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment.
    • Proven experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant, with a strong background in job costing for construction projects.
    • In-depth knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices, including job costing methodologies.
    • 2+ years of QuickBooks Experience.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations (GAAP).
    • Proficient in using accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic start-up environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic financial guidance and support to entrepreneurs.
    • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Pay Range: $70,000-80,000 per year depending on experience
