    We are entrepreneurial-minded organization that welcomes and support individual idea and strategies. We are currently looking to hire an experienced and dynamic FTL Carrier Claims Manager, based out of Chicago, IL.

    Job Duties:
    Coordinate litigation with contracted counsel, in-house counsel, subsidiaries, third parties, insurance carriers, and monitors discovery process with field personnel.
    Handle claims consistent with client and corporate policies, procedures, best practices, and regulations.

    Document (hard copy and e-copy) and communicate all claim activity in a timely and effective manner, while supporting the outcome of claim files.

    Review carriers' insurance policies and liaise with insurers daily.
    Developing SOP for claims and devising strategies to manage the risks of exposure to claims.
    Focus on loss prevention by analyzing data, assessing risks, and accurately evaluating financial
    exposures.
    Determine proper course of action for claims processing and timely payments of insurance claims.
    Conduct quarterly reconciliation with risk management team and claims managers to discuss risk
    exposures.
    Investigate/quantify the damages, settle & pay or Dispute & Deny Claims.
    Communicate with attorneys during the litigation process.

    Requirements:
    5+ years of cargo claims experience in the transportation, freight forwarding, or 3rd party logistics industry.
    College Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply chain or related field.
    Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding operational environment, sometimes without detailed direction.
    Familiarity with claims management software and Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
    Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment.
