    We're pleased to present the opportunity to join Urenco as Lead Project Planner.

    Based at our Capenhurst you'll directly support portfolio and programme demands, and act as a first line customer point of contact.

    Additionally, you will be responsible for Urenco programme planning and integrated scheduling between all Urenco sites and multiple global functions

    As a local lead for the planning team, you'll direct and support the local delivery of project planning to projects.

    This role may be either a full time role or a part-time depending on team size.
    This role will act as one of the SME's in support of the Standards function, contributing to and supporting the direction of the function
    What will your day look like?
    Actively promote a pro-active safety culture throughout the project lifecycle and across the Group
    Accountable for Urenco global programme planning
    Overall responsibility for the reporting of project, portfolio and/or programme planning status in relation to safety, scope, cost, schedule and Business benefits objectives
    Develop a high performance team, ensuring flawless integration of all sub-disciplines and functions throughout the project lifecycle.
    Ensure Urenco's commercial position is robustly protected through the application of industry best practice in contracting strategies, supplier selection, procurement, contract negotiation and contract management
    The role will ensure knowledge is retained and transferred and undertake lessons learnt reviews to promote continuous improvement
    What do you need to be great at this role?
    Educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
    Min. 5 years' experience of managing project control teams
    Experience of managing projects exceeding €10 million
    Ability to analyse project requirements and critical success factors and translate these into bespoke Project Planning Strategies
    Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing strategies that successfully deliver project to Business objectives (safety, budget, cost, benefits)
    Experience of and be skilled in managing ambiguity and being confident to take accountability for delivering to the Business
    Demonstrable ability in building teams of highly performing professionals, communicating strategy and building a team accountable for delivery
