Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking an Information Security Engineer to support our team located at the Indian Head Campus and EOD Campus of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head (NSWC IHD) in Maryland.

Certified Small Business with room for growth Job Description : We are seeking an Information Security Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head (NSWC IHD), a Department of Defense entity responsible for providing IT services and products to Command personnel and the EOD community. Software application development, electronic publication distribution, incident reporting, technical support services and supplying unclassified and classifieds networks for research, development and testing are just a few of the ways the Information Technology Division and ISB support NSWC IHD and the EOD warfighter.

Daily Responsibilities :

Responsible for performing software and hardware installation, configuration troubleshooting, and forensic analysis of SIEM devices per DoD requirements and system capabilities
C onfigure new data sources on the SIEM to ensure compliance with logging requirements
K eep the SIEM software up to date with manufacturers latest patches and updates
M onitor and investigate SIEM for anomalies that occur within the network enclave related to help identify risk based on generated logs and other inputs
P rovide reports based on logs generated to be used in identifying long term risks and vulnerabilities Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university.
Three (3) to Five (5) years professional experience in Information Security, to include tasks such as software and hardware installation, configuration troubleshooting, and forensic analysis of SIEM devices. Required Certification
CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP Security Clearance :
Must currently possess an active Secret clearance (min.)
