The Mid-level Practitioner functions according to the established standards and practices of medicine for Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistants in the State of Texas.

- BSN, MSN, ANP, or PA licensed in the state of Texas

- Thorough knowledge of patient triage, diagnosis and evidenced-based care.
- Skill in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising.
- Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures.
- Skill in problem solving.
- Skill in verbal and written communication.
- Skill in speaking engagements and other activities that raise awareness to diseases and disease processes.
- Ability to read, interpret and apply policies and procedures.
