As a Mobile X-Ray and EKG Technologist, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and promote your career while working in a dynamic environment.
This position offers job security and autonomy as you provide crucial services in nursing homes and other healthcare facilities.Responsibilities
Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
Transmit X-Rays to a Radiologist for interpretation after obtaining clinically diagnostic images.
Unload portable X-Ray equipment and transport it within facilities to conduct exams based on physician orders.
Execute EKGs when necessary and send results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per established protocols.
Maintain effective communication with dispatch and management.
Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
Ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle and X-Ray equipment.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current ARRT certification is required.
Active Driver's License is required.
Schedule
This position demands a varied schedule, including any day from Sunday to Saturday, from 0700 to 2300.
