Contract Duration : 6 months
Worksite Location : 100% Remote
Pay:
$30-35/hr
What you'll do as a Senior Staff Accountant:
Review and audit accounting systems data
Follow best practices related to data validation process
Ensure accuracy or data compliance with recognized format and systems requirements and any internal accounting policies and procedures
Ensure that proper controls are in place to reduce or eliminate errors
Identify and remove obstacles in end-to-end process
Special projects as manager dictates will include general accounting department functions
File and maintain physical and digital files
What you'll bring to the Senior Staff Accountant role:
Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred
3+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant
Ability to create and maintain Microsoft Excel reports and experience with Microsoft Office products
Ability to use Excel to organize and analyze data sets using pivot tables, functions, and other tools
