The Prestige Beauty Advisor PBA is responsible for maximizing sales in the prestige category color cosmetics skincare hair care products by engaging guests to determine their individual needs and assisting guests in selecting purchasing prestige merchandise while following all company policies procedures All responsibilities are done while maintaining overall store standards including cleanliness replenishment This position supports Sales Manager SM through a focus on performance service retail sales events people guest service associate culture process operating procedures compliance standards This position requires passion for beauty industry exceptional guest service aptitude learn communicate product knowledge
This job includes working with customers selling merchandise providing customer service handling returns exchanges performing make-up application analysis demonstrations drive sales support execution services in-store events deliver unrivaled customer experience delivering prestige iconic brand sales goals Maintain prompt regular attendance Contribute inclusive environment support teammates peers internal external guests served Collaborate managers associates throughout store help grow business Regularly participate ongoing training prestige iconic brand product training enable continuous professional development drive prestige sales performance Be knowledgeable ensure compliance Ulta Beauty policies procedure standards Adhere dress code Drive sales keeping work area replenished maintained ensure testers available maintained hygiene standards Maintain outstanding operational standards keep makeover stations company standard times Participate completing merchandise resets planograms marketing displays processing shipment using technology best practices Share benefits guest loyalty program credit app with guests prompted systems Protect company assets following loss prevention best practices exceptional customer service Execute operational tasks as directed Job Qualifications Education High school diploma preferred Cosmetology esthetician demonstrator license where required state law Experience year relevant work experience or equivalent combination education relevant work experience preferred Skills Demonstrates passion significant competency elegance luxury product personalization selling Ability build strong relationships Ability independently team Strong communication skills Special Position Requirements Work flexible schedule include days evenings weekends holidays Attend corporate business meetings conferences overnight stays Working conditions Frequent mobility throughout store shift Frequent standing bending reaching pulling pushing twisting during shift Continuous lifting moving up lbs during shift Continuous coordination manipulation objects during shift
