- Develop and coordinate product specifications.
- Develop product specifications based on customer requirements, related parts specifications and Aisin's design policy.
- Modify product specifications in accordance with product test results, vehicle test results, etc.
- Implement application design by adapting Aisin's original designs to meet customer requirements.
- Review and issue internal drawings and customer drawings.
- Develop evaluation plans and coordinate implementation.
- Analyze and interpret test results, take countermeasures as needed.
- Create and submit test reports to customers and Aisin departments as necessary.
- Coordinate engineering promotional activities and prepare necessary material (presentation materials, samples, test vehicles, etc.)
- Work with the sales department to develop sales strategies.
- Investigate technical trends, market trends, product trends, governmental regulations, etc.
- Benchmark assigned products.
- 3-5 years of relevant product design and development experience (automotive preferred).
- CAD experience, Catia v5 preferred.
- Ability to work well with a team and individually.
- Possess strong customer service and written abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering discipline.
