    $20-$30 hourly

    Onsite- Goleta, CA
    8am-5pm, M-F
    3 month contract with opportunity to transition to full time employee.


    POSITION SUMMARY

    As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process and ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.


    Your key responsibilities will include:

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Processing invoices accurately and efficiently.
    Posting payments and reconciling accounts receivable transactions.
    Following up with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and outstanding payments.
    Monitoring aging reports and initiating collection efforts as needed.
    Collaborating with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to billing and payments.
    Assisting with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
    Providing analysis and insights on accounts receivable metrics to support decision-making.

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
    Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
