- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and actively seek new business opportunities.
- Conduct intake calls with customers to understand their needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions based on customer specifications.
- Own the entire sales process, from initial customer contact to project completion.
- Prepare detailed proposals, including scope, specifications, and pricing.
- Coordinate touchpoints and meetings with customers to address inquiries and provide updates.
- Work closely with the internal team to refine proposals and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and asphalt expos.
- Effectively market capital equipment offerings to potential clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Expect approximately 3 days of travel per week within the designated region.
- Flexibility in travel days to accommodate business needs.
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in engineering, civil engineering, construction science, or related fields.
- Design Experience: Practical experience with asphalt plants/products or thermal/heating systems.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Sales Experience: Previous sales experience is highly desirable.
- ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Willingness to Travel: Comfortable traveling within the region.
- While not mandatory, the following skills and experience would be advantageous:
- Additional technical knowledge related to asphalt terminals and industrial heating systems.
