Job summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse LPN or Registered Nurse RN reports directly to the Director of Nursing and delivers coordinates evaluates resident care in alignment with physician orders individualized service plans and regulatory standards.Responsibilities
Provide services in accordance with nurse practice act and state federal nursing center regulations Work with the Director of Nursing to provide direction and oversight to the care staff regarding the resident s needs Review and revise assessments and care plans at admission periodically per regulation and at change in resident physical or psychosocial condition Administer document medications according to rights right medication route resident time dose etc Supervise monitor medications for residents who self administer if applicable Document all pertinent relevant observations red flags incidents interventions communication clinical procedures daily medication assistance/care throughout shift as indicated Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed including bathing showering oral care toileting dressing etcJob description
