Job Title: Driver at GFL Company

The Driver is responsible for safely operating a straight or tanker truck on assigned routes to service customers efficiently. This position plays a key role in supporting various aspects of the business, including operating oil trucks, box trucks, vacuum trucks, and handling other related duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate tanker, straight truck, or box trucks on designated routes to collect waste.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections, complete daily reports, and communicate any mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain route quality standards and follow safety protocols and regulations.
• Clean and maintain vehicles, wear required safety gear, and report accidents or incidents immediately.
• Adhere to all laws, regulations, and company policies, attending safety meetings, and fulfilling other assigned responsibilities.
• Work overtime as needed.

Requirements:

• CDL B license with a clean driving record.
• Tanker endorsement required, Hazmat certification is a plus.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and a strong team player.
