We are looking for a business development professional to grow ourCivil Agents is looking for a Business Development professional to grow our roster of municipalities serviced by Recycle by City.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide outreach and sales strategies for new customer acquisition.


Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential municipalities that would benefit from Recycle by City's servicesDevelop and maintain client relationshipsCoordinate with management to develop mutually beneficial proposalsGather useful information from customer and competitor dataMake and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executivesNegotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholdersTrack, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline through HubspotTrack and report on the status of proposal components though HubspotConduct ongoing market researchWork with management to prepare and submit sales contracts

Required Skills:
Professional experience in the Waste and Recycling IndustryDemonstrated ability in business-to-business sales or fundraisingImpeccable verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with project management methodologiesFamiliarity with the recycling industry including processes, challenges and opportunitiesProblem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutionsProficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation softwareCompensation:$13 per hour, 4-8 hours per week, plus 21% commission based on contract price (excluding set-up fees)

Bonus:
