    Senior Helpers Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide companionship through engaging conversations, assist with hobbies, meal preparation, and other activities.
    • Assist with daily living tasks, including diet monitoring, walking, personal hygiene, and other essential activities.
    • Support clients with non-medical care needs, addressing normal aging challenges and post-hospital recovery.
    Required Qualifications:
    • 1 year of home care experience is mandatory.
    • Home health aide or personal care aide certification is required for certain roles.
    • 2 professional references (with contact information) from previous home care experiences.
    • PPD test results (performed within 1 year).
    • Documentation of MMR vaccinations (measles, mumps, and rubella).
    • COVID-19 vaccination.
    • Annual physical examination (including height, weight, blood pressure, and overall health status) performed within 1 year.
    • Fluent English language skills; bilingual candidates are highly valued.
