    Description

    Join Collins Aerospace as a Metrology Engineering Database Coordinator

    Collins Aerospace, a leading company in technologically advanced solutions for the aerospace and defense industry, is seeking a Metrology Database Coordinator to work in a dynamic Engineering Lab environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining calibration databases, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with various departments to support asset management.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and execute RTX Metrology Operations requirements
    • Maintain metrology infrastructure for development and testing
    • Support audits such as AS 9100/ISO 9001 and Government DCMA audits
    • Collaborate with Calibration vendors and Metrology personnel
    • Manage daily equipment calibration and repair issues

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • 3+ years of engineering experience
    • 5+ years of database management experience
    • Understanding of quality processes for certification
    • Degree in STEM fields or equivalent experience
    • Ability to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance or higher

    Security Clearance: The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance, must be a U.S. citizen, and capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense security clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Database Management Systems
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Self-motivated with attention to detail
    • Active DoD Security Clearance preferred

    Salary Range: $77,000 - $163,000
