    Monitor network administration and maintenance operations. esolve network incidents to ensure the smooth-running of the network operation center.     Basic Qualifications:
    * 10+ year experience with SATCOM

    • Experience with designing and implementing LANs and VLANs
    • Knowledge of current and future Force tactical and strategic military communications networks, as well as the architecture, protocols, security, network management, and physics underlying these systems
    • Knowledge of virtualization and storage technologies, including VMware, EMC, NetApp, Microsoft, Dell, or HP
    • Ability to assist in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing systems , including the WIN-Tactical Network, portions of the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN), and the Global Information Grid (GIG)
    • Ability to gather mission needs statements, operational requirements Capability Development Documents (ORCDD), and Capability Production Documents (CPD) and translate requirements into technical solutions that are standards-based and cost efficient
    • Ability to lead and facilitate technical discussions with internal and external organizations
    • Ability to provide technical expertise at field locations as required
    • Secret clearance
    • Bachelor's degree

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Converged Ethernet Over IP (EOIP) network
    • Ability to develop network architecture for adjacent, higher, and lower units, as well as for allied nations, government agencies, and commercial service interfaces
    • Ability to support technical tasks in the integration of Data, Voice, and Video in the Tactical Network, engineering, and technical documentation
    • Ability to assist in the development of technical requirements, specifications, plans and reports, software and hardware engineering, preparation of independent assessments, systems engineering, technical expertise at fielding locations, test and evaluation, architectural and interoperability support, and quality engineering
    • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172, annualized USD).
