    Job Title: Network EngineerLocation: Everett, WA (Fully On-Site)

    Company Overview: As a Network Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our network infrastructure, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional banking services to our customers.

    Responsibilities: As a Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for a diverse set of tasks critical to the success of our organization. Your top three responsibilities will include:

    1. Navigating Complex Financial Regulations:
    2. Demonstrate proficiency in navigating the intricacies of the banking industry, including compliance issues, risk assessments, and adherence to financial regulations.
    3. Utilize your prior experience within the banking sector to ensure our network infrastructure meets industry-specific compliance standards and security protocols.
    4. Effective Communication and Vendor Management:
    5. Serve as a primary point of contact between our organization and Managed Service Providers (MSPs), ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
    6. Utilize your strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    7. General IT Expertise and Change Management:
    8. Leverage your comprehensive IT background, including experience in IT support and help desk roles, to troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions.
    9. Implement effective change management practices, understanding the unique challenges and regulatory requirements of the banking environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong emphasis on the banking sector.
    • Proficiency in managing complex network infrastructure, including Cisco routers and switches, Fortinet VPN, VMware, Veeam backup software, SDWAN, Metro Ethernet, Cloud Firewall, Windows Server, Linux Servers, DarkTrace IDS, and NCR ATMs.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
    • Proven experience in vendor management and service level agreement adherence.
    • Strong understanding of change management principles and their application within a highly regulated environment.
