    Position Summary and Objectives The Supply Chain Data Analyst will serve as a key liaison between IT/Data Science teams and the Supply Chain function within Next Generation Sequencing Division (CSD).

    Collaborating with the Director of Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Data Analyst will support CSD's supply chain transformation projects, automation of key business processes, and business intelligence reporting.


    Functions and Responsibilities:
    Apply supply chain planning knowledge and expertise in data systems to drive improvements in processes, systems, tools, and reports.
    Collaborate with supply chain teams to understand current workflows and challenges, to capture requirements and propose analytics-enabled process improvements. Further, case assessment should support the benefit of proposals.
    Define new business processes to incorporate analytics solutions. Develop resulting standard work documentation, and conduct training to help users leverage data and analytics solutions.
    Manage prioritization and investigation of systemic data issues for the organization.
    Perform ad hoc supply chain analyses.
    Lead analytic and transformation projects, when required, to insure on schedule delivery to internal customers. Lead inventory reduction, back-order reduction, and fulfilment increase efforts.
    Continuously support improvement of forecast accuracy at aggregate and key item / portfolio hierarchies.


    How will you get there?Education:
    HS Diploma or GED required.
    Bachelor's degree in supply chain, data science, engineering, or a related field required.

    Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesIn depth application knowledge of Supply Chain processes3-5 years of relevant Supply Chain experienceWork experience in IT business management operations is helpfulProven track record in system transformations, process improvements and improved reportingDevelop relations with internal clients, IT partners and peer teams, to effectively navigate across the organization.

    Strong business intelligence reporting skills (Power BI preferred)Experience in problem or organizational change, in a leading roleTool & Technology SkillsDomain expert in development and operation of ERP systems (JDE E1 / SAP preferred)Domain expert in MS tools (Excel), business intelligence reporting (Power BI), and performance analyticsSolid experience in database interactions, with software skills preferred (SQL or similar).

    Ability to effectively work with database owners to enable effective analytics and solutions.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good interpersonal relationship skills, and a demonstrable ability to work with broad, multi-functional teams.

    Self-motivated, highly ethical individual with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team.
