Responsibilities:
Provides respiratory care for residents who are ventilator dependent or with other pulmonary needs including weaning under the direction of the Pulmonologist
Qualifications:
Graduate of an AMA approved program for respiratory therapy (1 year program)Appropriate experience in all aspects of respiratory careNYS Department of Education License as a Respiratory Therapist TechnicianRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT)Current BCLS certificationComputer skills sufficient to use excel, outlook, CPOE, touchscreen, EMAR, ETAR, etc.
