Job Title: Equipment Inspector

Description:

This position is responsible for inspecting equipment entering our yards in Laveen, AZ. The inspector will flag and report any defects discovered.

We are willing to train candidates interested in learning about semi-truck and trailer components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment for defects
• Flag and report defective equipment
• Learn about basic vehicle components on semi-trucks and trailers

Schedule and Work Environment:

8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday

Continually stand, stoop, bend, and squat repeatedly for up to 8 hours

Requirements:

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Dexterity to lower oneself on and off a creeper and maneuver under vehicles
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Withstand various ambient outdoor temperatures

Additional Skills:

• Effective communication with all types of persons (bilingual a plus)
• Able to read and write legibly
• Familiarity with basic tools for minor repairs

Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year
