    Responsibilities

    The LVN MOHS provides direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse Supervisor, or Licensed Vocational Nurse Coordinator, by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards.

    The LVN MOHS works with assigned physicians at surgical facilities and at off-site Kelsey-Seybold locations as needed. The LVN MOHS reports directly to their assigned physician for clinical activities and to the Nursing Supervisor for administrative activities

    51,512 - $63,648 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

    Education

    Required:
    Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program

    Preferred:

    Experience

    Required: 1+ years of experience in MOHS OR 2-3 years of related surgical experience

    Current and valid Texas LVN license

    Preferred:

    Special Skills

    Required:
    On the job OR training with appropriate hours and testing

    Preferred:
    Epic EMR or EMR


    Other

    Required:
    Basic knowledge of physician office documentation standards Strong Typing skills and working
    knowledge of computer systems, particularly with a windows-based environment.
