    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vulnerability Management Project Team Member to join our team in Fremont, CA. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our End User Computing (EUC) environment by proactively contacting users and addressing issues related to outdated Microsoft Operating Systems. You will be a key liaison between customers, departments, and internal teams, working collaboratively to identify solutions and maintain a high level of security posture.

    Responsibilities:

    • Proactively identify and contact U.S. end users whose Microsoft Operating Systems lack critical monthly security patches.
    • Investigate and document the specific reasons behind missing patches for each user.
    • Work collaboratively with users to address these reasons and ensure timely patching.
    • Utilize strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues that prevent patching.
    • Implement preventative measures to minimize future patching delays.
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, patch schedules, and project progress within designated systems.
    • Clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including team members and end users.
    • Provide deskside support services to users as needed (may vary depending on location).

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience is preferred).
    • CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
    • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10 & 11).
    • Experience with patch management procedures.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to users with varying technical backgrounds.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and customers.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in using database and reporting systems.
