Job summary
This role ensures product continuity of supply for all materials that fall under the assigned portfolio of products.The planner collaborates and partners with manufacturing sites to ensure supply plans can be successfully fulfilled by monitoring capacity and component availability and actively mitigating and resolving any product supply and/or customer service challenges.
The key responsibilities include scheduling/plant production, handling long-term planning for strategic suppliers participating in supplier capacity reviews,
inventory/service deploying inventory planning strategies to maintain and improve service levels and optimize inventory investment,
new products/product changes actively participating in cross-functional teams ensuring that supply plans are developed (and communicated) which are achievable aligned to project timelines deliverables meet launch inventory targets promotional activities support master data setup SAP/APO,
