    Title : Application Development Manager
    Compensation : $125,000 - $140,000 Base, strong bonus plan (10%-20%), excellent benefits package

    OVERVIEW: APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
    We are searching for an Application Development Manager for an industry-leading organization in the Greater Nashville area. The ideal candidate is driven to lead and mentor teams to build better products/services for a thriving industry while collaborating with customers and technical staff to resolve complex software. This key leader is responsible for managing the application product portfolio and providing strategic vision/leadership.     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or directly related year for year experience
    • 7 years of software development life cycle experience
    • 1 year of team leadership or supervisory experience
    • Experience with Application development in platforms like Microsoft .C# NET or Ruby on Rails (ROR)
    • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    • Experience building and deploying websites on WordPress
    IDEAL EXPERIENCE: APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
    • Experience with front-end tech, JavaScript, Angular, etc.
    • Experience with consumer-facing websites and API's
    RESPONSIBILITIES: APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external users as needed to support channel integration, development, and support.
    • Develop and modify internal and external facing software applications.
    • Provide full application development life cycle support, including specifications, prototypes, development, quality assurance, and deployment.
    • Support development with appropriate documentation.
    • Provide task and project level estimates scoped by available information.
    • Maintain or acquire an expert level of knowledge relative to the product and applicable business domain.
    • Coordinate application development with contract developers and other company developers.
    • Develop product line strategic vision, incorporating customer needs with market opportunity and company strategy.
    • Manage product line as a business and is responsible and accountable for performance.
    • Understand and develop subject matter expertise on the product line's competitive landscape.
    • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
    • Engage with business partners to reach agreements on decision points.
    • Work with third parties to assess partnership opportunities and external requirements.
    • Develop a clear definition of product strategy and roadmap.
    • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product.
