About the Opportunity:

Our progressive CVICU unit offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where you'll work alongside a team of skilled healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. As a CVICU RN, you'll:

• Assess and monitor the health status of critically ill cardiovascular patients using advanced monitoring equipment and hemodynamic assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members.
• Administer a wide range of medications and intravenous fluids to stabilize and manage patients' conditions.
• Provide high-acuity care, including mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac catheterization support.
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care journey.
• Document patient care meticulously to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
• Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a critical care setting (CVICU, ICU, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong clinical experience in cardiovascular nursing is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to perform advanced assessments, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
• ACLS, BLS and NIHHS required
