- Conducting advanced risk assessments focusing on machinery and fire protection systems while analyzing potential business interruptions within the power generation sector.
- Providing expert consultative services to clients by identifying significant exposure risks, investigating major loss causes/effects, and developing holistic management programs.
- Leading training sessions on power generation topics for Risk Engineering and Underwriting personnel, which includes designing effective service strategies, mentoring, and conducting loss investigations.
- Managing client risk portfolios and delivering tailored engineering solutions that align with underwriting requirements.
- Promoting Zurich's products alongside underwriting professionals and agents across various business segments.
- Creating customer service strategies that minimize losses and optimize operations for our clients.
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 6 years of experience in Power Generation Risk Engineering, or
- A High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or
- A Zurich Certified Apprentice with an Associate's degree and at least 6 years in Power Generation Risk Engineering.
- Strong ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- 10 or more years of experience in Risk Engineering or power generation operations and maintenance.
- A military background in propulsion and power generation equipment.
- Experience in the broader energy sector is advantageous.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Expert knowledge of exposure controls and the power generation industry sector.
- Certification in Risk Engineering related to Power Generation Machinery Breakdown assessments.

In this crucial role, you will strengthen our Power Generation Risk Engineering capabilities and support the underwriting process.
