    Presented by Procom for our client, a leading figure in the Utilities industry, we are actively seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to enhance our technology-driven services.

    This role is essential in providing first-tier support and ensuring seamless functionality of desktop and laptop systems within our operations.


    Onsite Location:
    San Antonio, Texas 78215
    12 month contract with potential for extension/hire


    Position Summary:


    As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be at the forefront of handling intermediate level maintenance and support tasks, focusing on both hardware setups and software configurations.

    Your role is critical in resolving technical issues, providing user training, and maintaining documentation to support efficient operations and user satisfaction.


    Tasks and Responsibilities:
    Install, configure, and setup new hardware and software for users.
    Provide training and guidance to users on the basic functionality of devices and applications.
    Document troubleshooting guides and installation procedures to enhance knowledge sharing.
    Coordinate and execute equipment relocations including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
    Innovate solutions for emerging challenges and document all problem-solving steps in our system.
    Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to continually refine your technical expertise.


    Minimum Qualifications:


    Associate Degree in Computer Maintenance Technology, Computer Help Desk Specialist, Computer Network Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

    Practical experience in an IT support role, demonstrating proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining personal computer hardware and software.
    Understanding of PC networking concepts, Windows Active Directory, and basic peripheral devices (LCD projectors, monitors, printers, plotters).
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project) and strong troubleshooting capabilities.
    Excellent analytical skills, effective communication, and proven ability to develop working relationships with diverse customer groups.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Relevant certifications in IT support or related fields.
    Experience specifically supporting utility construction and maintenance tasks.
