    Description

    Looking to advance your career? Our client located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing fixed equipment reliability initiatives, providing guidance to engineers, and collaborating closely with operations and maintenance teams.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Conducting plant performance assessments and prioritizing tasks
    • Offering expertise in fixed equipment design, construction, and examination
    • Supervising engineering procedures and technical records
    • Managing advanced analytical techniques such as fitness-for-service evaluations
    • Ensuring compliance with Management of Change protocols
    • Steering reliability investigations and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) formulation
    • Leading turnaround preparations for reliability enhancements

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years of engineering background in refineries, power plants, or comparable industrial environments
    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or metallurgical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
    • Capability to operate safely in refinery settings

    Preferred qualifications:

    • NCEES Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) Examination
    • Experience in team leadership
    • Solid expertise in the refining/petrochemical sector focusing on fixed equipment
    • Knowledge of ASME, NBIC, API regulations and standards
    • Proficiency with GE Digital's Asset Performance Management (APM) and/or Maximo (CMMS)
