Job Overview

The Warehouse Associate coordinates daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, and securing the warehouse.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Receive and inspect inbound material shipments and assign them to inventory or active builds.
Assist with managing inventory levels.
Assist with performing inventory counts.
Assist with creating and assigning new bin locations.
Assist with preparing and loading outbound shipments.
Assist with picking parts for BOMs/Work Orders
Operate forklift.
Accurately counting and confirming shipments.
Receiving truck loads on a forklift as needed.
Cycle Counting inventory.
Maintain a safe working environment by following safety procedures and reporting any safety concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Develop best practices to improve inventory handling, quality, and reliability.

Reports To

The position will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and also report to the VP of Operations.
Qualifications

Warehouse experience is preferred.
Must be computer proficient. ERP experience is a plus.
Ability to learn new computer systems.
Experience operating a forklift is preferred but not required.
Experience with mechanical or electrical equipment and production workflow is helpful.
Detail-oriented.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
Must be self-motivated and a great team worker.

Physical Requirements

The ability to communicate orally with delivery drivers, management, and other co-workers.
Standing for extended periods is common.
Hearing and vision within normal ranges, with or without corrective lenses or an assisted hearing device.
Some heavy lifting is expected; occasional exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force may be required.
Retrieving, moving and staging materials for inventory and production needs.

Work Environment

The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional manufacturing and production setting. Extended periods of standing are expected.
